RELIGION AND VENTURE OF HUMANITY'S CHANGE

The history of humanity is a continuous process of change and transformation. Religion plays an important role in this process, both as an influencing and an affected element. It is possible to see the traces of religion in all areas of change, from changes in human history to cultural change, from individual and social changes to scientific and technological advances. In this respect, religion has shaped the thought patterns, worldviews, moral values, individual and social structures of humanity throughout history, while at the same time being influenced and shaped by the changes in humanity. Accordingly, throughout history, religion has shaped humanity's thought structures, world views, moral values, individual and social structures, while at the same time being influenced and shaped by the changes in humanity.

Religion has evolved with humanity throughout history and played an important role in intellectual and social transformations. Today and in the future, the question of how religion will continue this interaction will remain at the center of scientific, philosophical and cultural debates.  The aim of this symposium is to highlight the mutual interaction of religion within the framework of many fields that can be associated with humanity, from anthropology to philosophy, law to education, individual development to social transformation, modernity to globalization, art to architecture, scientific and technological developments. The aim of the symposium is to show how the interaction between humanity and religion has proceeded in the past and to discuss the possible reflections of this interaction in depth with the researches of all participants who will contribute to the symposium.

The main theme of the international symposium, which will be held as part of the IRSAD (International Religion, Science, Art Diwan) series organized by Necmettin Erbakan University Ahmet Keleşoğlu Faculty of Theology, has been determined as “Religion and Venture of Humanity's Change”. We are very happy and excited to invite you to our symposium where we aim to examine the effects of religion on different fields such as anthropology, philosophy, personal transformation, social change, media and digital culture, aesthetic perception, science and technology, law and education, and the reflections of changes in these fields on religion from a multidimensional and interdisciplinary perspective.
